The Watsons is one of Jane Austen's unfinished pieces of work. It follows the story of a widowed clergyman Mr Watson who has two sons and four daughters. The youngest daughter Emma was brought up by her wealthy aunt, but following her aunt's second marriage, she is sent back to her father. Having lived a more refined lifestyle, Emma finds two of her husband hunting sisters troublesome. However, she finds kindness in her eldest sister Elizabeth.
