Fanny Price is one of nine children that her parents can scarcely afford. Her mother's wealthy sister Lady Bertram offers to take one of her children and chooses Fanny to live at Mansfield Park where she grows up with her four cousins Tom, Edmund, Maria and Julia. Fanny grows very attached to her cousin Edmund but the arrival of the Crawford's to Mansfield disrupts her and her cousins chance at happiness.
