Emma centres around Emma Woodhouse in the village of Highbury. Emma is from a privileged background and following a successful marriage between her governess Miss Taylor and Mr Weston, she begins to fancy herself a matchmaker. She embarks on a quest to pair off her new friend Harriet Smith but it doesn't turn out how she plans.
